I am from Key West, Florida - a small island city that is the southernmost point of the continental United States. Key West has a unique culture unlike any other, being closer to Cuba than it is to Miami, and with one side of the island being in the Atlantic Ocean and the other side being in the Gulf of Mexico.

Beaches, boating, fishing and swimming have always been parts of my life. I enjoy sports and athletics the most though. From the age of three until I graduated high school, I played organized sports. I played baseball, soccer (football), basketball, golf, and American football. I have also coached two seasons of baseball. I love film and television as well, but my true passion is to be outside to enjoy nature and have fun in the sun.

I did my university studies in Tampa, Florida. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics from the University of South Florida (USF). I also pursued a Master of Business Administration at USF, completing my concentrations in Management/Leadership and Marketing. I have mostly worked in food service and sales, with the majority of my experience being in technology sales. Along with Key West and Tampa, I have also worked and lived in Jacksonville, Florida as well as Dallas, Texas.

I met my wife in Key West, but she is Czech. We live in Benátky nad Jizerou with our baby boy and own a cafe in Prague. I am excited to share my experience with the students at Otevřeno and look forward to learning and growing together.
